Tony initially didn't share his father's opinion. When his father suggested he take a bath with him, Tony said no very emphatically.
Dad filled the tub anyway and had to man-handle Tony to take off his clothes and get in the bath. Tony cried and said something about the water being hot. But it in fact wasn't, as Tony quickly realized and he became very happy and playful almost instantly.
Tony who had to be coaxed into the bath, then had to coaxed out after an hour. He had the best of times splashing and playing with his toy boat.
