At this stage in his life (he's eleven), Tony has a favourable impression of Chuck Norris.
He likes Chuck so much, he says, that he wants to grow a beard like Chuck.

Replied Dad: "Ah. No. It wasn't their kind of music."
Asked Tony: Joy Division
Asked Tony: "Dad, why do you like Joy Division? The lead singer killed himself."
"Good question." I replied.
